My Grandad William Joseph Dawes was the chief stoker (Well I know he was a chief stoker!) on HMS Marigold sailng from Gibraltar. He was crew when they sunk the bastard that sunk Ark Royal! Got papers and a photo, well a photo of him on a u boat and he said it was the one that sunk Ark Royal!
