Ms. Clennon,
I am a South Texas historian (and an old CG officer) and recently discovered that a frigate had been named after Brownsville, TX . A google search brought up your name. I would like to compose a short article on the USS Brownsville because today it has largely been forgotten. Could you scan the five photos that you have of the ship, your dads, and other crewman and allow me to use them in a newspaper article if they are suitable. Any other pertinant info on the ship would also be appreciated.
Thank you.
