My father served as engineering officer on the flaunt. Sadly he is no longer with us. Next time i visit my mother i will dig out my fathers old photographs etc. I have the Flaunt's white ensign in my care, complete with stains. I also have a photograph on my wall which shows six officers and men posing next to the huge drive system the vessel utilised.
