HMS PASLEY was orignally called HMS LINDSAY, K564, the former USN DE519 and as such, she was to be a member of the USN Evarts class.

You could also try:

1. Elliott, P. American Destroyer Escorts of World War Two. Almark: London, 1974.
2. Franklin, B. H. The Buckley-Class Destroyer Escort. Naval Institute Press: Annapolis, 1999. ISBN 1-5570-280-3.[I can't recall if he includes the Evarts here]

You might also try these two articles to be found in Warship Supplement, a product of Marine News, Journal of the World Ship Society, Kendal, Cumbria, LA9 7LT.
a. “Captains Class Diesel-Electric Frigates, part 1.” No 78, Autumn 1984, pp 20 - 26.
b. “Captains Class Diesel-Electric Frigates, part 2.” No 79, Winter 1984, pp 1 - 8.

Good luck
