Noteable events involving Celandine include:
27 Jun, 1941
The German submarine U-556 was sunk in the North Atlantic south-west of Iceland, in position 60.24N, 20.00W, by depth charges from the British corvettes HMS Nasturtium, HMS Celandine and HMS Gladiolus.
