I cannot give full details of her career, but can say that she was completed for service in January 1941 and seems to have spent most of her career acting as a convoy escort, either across the Atlantic or on the UK-Gibraltar run. In 1944 she was being employed in escorting convoys through the English Channel. This included acting as one of the escorts to the US LSTs involved in Operation Tiger. She later took part in the D-Day landings.

She was sold out of service (to Brazilian owners?) on 5 April 1946 and was converted to a merchant ship and renamed "Norte". She foundered 19 January 1955 off Cape Santa Marta, Brazil following a collision.
