Hi Platon,
Many, many thanks - very grateful for your help. Just one more thing - are you able to tell me the sources for your casualty information, or point me in the direction where I could find out more? I wonder if the 27 listed as "missing" can now be counted as dead? If this is the case, would there be a list of those men killed anywhere,in German official archives, maybe? Are there any books that cover the topic other than the one written about Safari, the British submarine?
