Hi Jim,
HMS Buffalo was a gate vessel of 750 ts, built by Bow McLachlan and launched 25/1/1916. Dimensions: Lpp 136, B 27, D 10'6", armament uncertain, designed to mount 1-12 pdr gun. Triple expansion engine of 500 IHP and speed about 9 kn.
She was stationed at Singapore in 1941 and was lost in fouling a british defensive minefield.
HTH, regards, Brian
