Hi,
My Grandfather was also served on HMS Imperialist during 1943. His name was JOSEPH COFFEY. I've been looking for information about his naval past, this seems to be the only moment (u732 sinking) i can find. I would love to find out more about this ships history and photos of it would be brilliant!
As i said ive not been able to find to much so far, but i did find this which gives a little info about the ship and crew -
