Seems you have Medway confused with Mersey.There is an account of this action in "Out Sweeps" By Paul Lund & Harry Ludlam. If you need a copy just yell.

Ltd (William Morley, manager). 1928: Sold to Iago Steam Trawler
Co Ltd, London & Milford Haven (Edward D. W. Lawford, manager).
Renamed Saint Gabriel. (LO131). 1928: Renamed Thomas Leeds (LO131).
1930: Sold to H. Westenborg & Co, Milford Haven (Hermann Westenborg,
manager). Registered at Milford (M70). 8.1939: Requisitioned for
war service and converted for minesweeping duties (P.No.FY.520).
11.1945: Returned. pre1949: Sold to Westenborg Trawlers Ltd, Milford
Haven (Hermann Westenborg, manager). 1951: Sold to ??, Aberdeen.
Renamed Strathcathro (A256) 1952: Sold to Nigeria. FATE. At
Milford until 1954??
