Lt. Hamilton reports HMS Coreopsis worked out of "Jib" and was charged with forward recon and warning.

Stockum was used as an escort as near as I can tell from Lt. Hamilton's story telling and my poor hearing. She was a lend lease from the USA with Turboelectric drive

He talks about HMCS New Glasgow as a River Class and was very proud of her "hedge hog" mortars. He also speaks of her conversion to a prestonian class. He recalls orders to sail her to the Korean Theater only to be ordered back to Canada at Hawaii.
