Naval action on 14./15.8.1940 off Texel/Vlieland

Hello friends,

I´m looking for information about a naval action which occured on 14.8.1940 off Texel/Vlieland.

a) One source states, the british destroyers MALCOLM and VERITY sunk two ships off Texel.

b) KTB Skl for 14.8.1940 gives for 0315h a naval action between 12. UJ-Flottille with 2 british destroyers ("nach Reuters MALCOLM und VERITY"). Four Sub-Chasers are damaged.

Can you give me more data on this event?
