SS Carola Sept 1944

Hi I would like to ask for help with SS Carola which I found was in 1944 in German hands and was sailing in around Greece when found by RAAF Baltimore on 6.9.44.

Can anybody provide me some more information about this ship, like the original owner, technical data, when it was captured by German and in which port, etc.?
