The book Far Distant Ships by Joseph Schull (Annapolis, Maryland: Naval Institute Press, 1987 but originally published 1950) gives a very short description on page 139:
"November weather also brought to an end the active career of Saguenay. The destroyer, restored to service after her torpedoing in 1940, collided in fog with the merchant vessel Azra, and was so heavily damaged that she was henceforth retained only as a training ship."
Hope this is a lead for you.
