Hi C.C. A quote from a Chris Madsen book, 'On the 16.05.45 the Norwegian destroyer HMNS Stord with Rear Admiral E.C. Danielsen on board on passage to northern Norway intercepted a German convoy consisting of 15 U-boats, 2 Depot ships, 1 Accommodation ship and 1 tanker from the 14th U-Flotilla enroute from Narvik to Trondheim. The U-boats were diverted to Loch Eriboll under escort by HMCS Matane.'
