Greetings,
I have come across the USS Prudent while researching my grandfather's service in the Coast Guard during WWII. I don't have a lot of detailed information - mostly pictures from a scrapbook of his. He served on the USS Prudent in 1943 as far as I can tell, and he has pictures of the Brooklyn Bridge, Ellis Island, and Cuba, which tells us how far they traveled on their East coast patrols. My grandfather was ensign Robert Albert Wanasek (b.1920 d.2010)

I would love to know what you have come across about the USS Prudent, especially if you have any crew lists or sailing information.
