WW1 veterans

<HTML>Today as you all know is the celebration of the end of WW1. I heard that in France, only 38 men who had participated in were still alive, the youngest being 103 years old. I just wonder if any chap here has ever known or met one of those ancient submariners ? One of those that the younger ones used to call "the bravest among the braves".
