OK, I'm trying to figure out who sank the Belgian fishing vessel L'AVENIR on September 28, 1916 while (appranetly) traveling between Rotterdam and London.
The good news is that I've recently been in contact with Maurice Voss, who was able to provide some details on L'AVENIR. Yes, she was a real fishing vessel, of 39 tons (probaly net tons) built in 1907. The problem is that I don't have the KTBs for most of the Flanders UBI, which are the boats most likely responsible. Does anyone have any of these KTBs?
Best wishes,
Michael
