UB 62 and the sinking of Hammar II

Hello all;

This is my first post, but I have been lurking for some time, and used the web site for even longer. It is a truly amazing resource!

I am researching the loss of the small Swedish composite steamer Hammar II, sunk by UB 62 September 6, '17. The whole crew perished, but the body of the master was discovered on a beach on the island of Tjörn (north of Göteborg/Gothenburg) at the end of September.

My copy of Bendert's UB-boote-book arrived today, and finally I could verify that Hammar II was sunk by explosives, but no further details were given.

I do not have access to Spindler's book on 1917, nor to any KTB. I would be most grateful if a Forum participant with that kind of access could inform me if these sources have further info regarding the sinking, of any kind.

Many thanks in advance.
