<HTML>MAX,
Dänemark's suggest of Bendert's book on UC is a good one - it is a very useful publication. There are also two pictures of her after her internment in Spain in Robert Grant's "U-Boat Intelligence." she looks very much like a standard UCII boat.
FLORENCE CREADICK was not sunk. She was towed in after the explosive charges failed to sink the ship.
The U.S. Merchant Marine website lists her as being torpedoed by am UC boat and towed in. Overall, I'd go with what's in UC 48's log and presume the FLORENCE CREADICK just got it wrong.
Best wishes,
Michael</HTML>
