Spindler's official history was written in five volumes, not three. The first three volumes were printed in the early 1930s and translated into French. The fourth didn;t appear until about 1941 and fifth not until 1966, These last two volumes are extremely difficult and expensive to locate.
That said, Harald Bendert's books on UB and UC boats, which draw heavily upon Spindler, are what you are looking for.
