<HTML>Hello there,

So can i take it that no one here has seen a confirmed picture of Wilhelm Werner of the u55.

Most people know that crew lists for merchant vessels are in the main kept at the Memorial uni at Newfoundland and other British records at the PRO at Kew. Some of the older ones have pictures of the crew members, does anyone know if and where the crew list are for the WW1 u boat fleet, if they have indeed survived as for example the war diaries of the boats patrols are in the states and avalible on film.
