Victory Pennants

I was wondering if anyone here knew the system of WWI "brag flags" flown by U-boats when returning to port from a war patrol? I believe there were different colors for victory pennants to denote different types or tonnages of ships sunk, but I can't seem to find the key to it anywhere.
