<HTML>Hi,
Is there anyone willing to inform me (in English) of the contents of the log of the above relating to events in mid August 1915 when the above attempted a rescue of three German Naval Officers who had tunnelled out of their P.O.W. camp some fifteen miles inland. I am aware of the story from the British viewpoint, but would like to learn how it seemed to the German crew. The dates quoted in various correspondce I have seen difer widely in mid August from the 18th to the 25th and for the sake of accuracy I would like to know the true dates of the rescue attempt, which again shows variation between 2 or 3 nights. I hope at some time in the future to write up this daring rescue bid for a local magazine and wish to have the accurate facts. You may if you prefer reply direct
Thanks
Ray</HTML>
