<HTML>Hi Michel
The swedish Steamer was sunk on position 56'29N - 03'16E 2200 o'clock. They observed the torpedo and there where no doubt. At the time when Elida Left Helsingborg on the way to Hull, there where some german trawlers in the harbour and rumours said that they repported back to germany when Elida left the Harbour.
Concerning which u-boat that sunk Elida, I could only find U38. U38 sunk an unknown steamer submerged in the Northsea that day, but I don#t know the position. Maybe some at the Forum have the KTB from U38 and can have a look.
Regards
