I can recall my grandfather telling me tales of exploits on Q Ships during WW1 and that he was actively involved with the sinking of a U Boat in the Mediterranean. They captured a decorated and rather noble german officer that he helped pull out of the sea. It is only recently that I have researched this and my grandfathers service record confirms that he was on board Lychnis that sunk U64 off Cape Bon. Hence it must have been Robert Moraht that he fished from the sea.
