Michael, thank you so much for replying. As my parents & grand patents are no longer here, it is hard to separate family folklore from fact. I suppose the most importantthing is to remember all those who lost their lives. Still if weather wasnt a factor, no u boats or mines you woyld wonder what happened The S.S.Keeper on the 10th June 1917?? Thanks again. Helen
