french sources give
"26 février 1916 - Le croiseur auxiliaire Provence II de 15000 tonnes est torpillé entre Crête et Grèce par l'U35 commandé par Arnault de la Perrière. Il parvient à lancer un signal de détresse et le paquebot hôpital Canada et les contre-torpilleurs Fantassin et Cavalier sauvent 1300 personnes sur les 2450 embarquées"

for difference some authors use tonnage inside capacity (13752 tonneaux) and other external displacement (15000 tons)
