With Innes and company discovering and IDing UB 65, that leaves only one U-boat, the UB 108, that was at sea on July 10 and is conventionally listed as missing.
I can say with great confidence that UB 108 wasn't lost on July 10 south of Fastnet. Divers have in recent years found three UBIII wrecks off the Belgian coast in locations that are exact matches for minefields laid in June 1918. Only a Flanders-based boat coming from or going toward the Straits of Dover would pass through these minefields. And there are exactly three Flanders-based UBIIIs that are either missing (UB 103, UB 108) or known lost somewhere off the Belgian coast (UB 57) in July and August 1918...
