Bruce,

UB 7: nothing really new. There's probably some Russian language material on this, but it hasn;t made it into the English or German literature yet.

UB 107: the body was not recovered as it was "too far gone." The trawler (etc.) crews did not like the body to the ASW at the time -- that only came later. Of course, given that UB 107 wasn't sunk in the attack, that shouldn't be a surprise.
