She sailed August 26, 1916 and vanished. Some sort of diving accident would be the best bet for her loss, though you can't completely rule out a mine.
There is a vague claim that she was sunk by ramming by an armed merchant cruiser of the Royal Navy's 10th Cruiser Squadron. Or better said, there's a claim of some sort that one of these ship hiy something. Messimer dismisses the story in his book "The Merchant U-boat."
