Yes, that's the limited information we provide on this website. Given the nature of what U 26 was doing, it doesn't tell the whole story. U 26 actually conducted a number of operations primarily with military objectives (as opposed to sinking merchant sinking); these are outside the scope of Spindler's official history which we used to generate the number of patrols for U-series boats. (We used Bendert for the UBs and UCs). To get a handle of what exactly U 26 was doing, the best thing to do is look at her KTB (war diary). This would, of course, also include an account of her sinking the Pallada. While I have a number of KTBs, I do not have that for U 26 as yet, though it is available on microfilm from the U.S. National Archives and Record Administration.
