UB rates

I have been studying casualty lists in Spindler and I was struck by the differences/nuances in rate between WW2 crews and WW1 U crews

Can anyone clarify what the leading NCO rates on say, a UB class would have been ?

I have been searching for oberbootsmen and not finding them, nor can I find any obersteurmen in the list I am currently examining, which is UB115. I know this boat was lost with all hands so am I correct in assuming that obersteurmen and oberbootsmen were purely WW2 rates ?
