One is the Captain's report to the Navy on the overall trip, highlighting accomplishments and problems.
The other(s) are more detailed, filled with minutiae, and may include:
Quartermaster's Notebook - All maneuvering commands, weapon use, daily position calculations (may be in a Navigator's Log),
Engineering Log - Status and operation of all mechanical equipment,
Radio Log - All transmitted, and received messages, plus listening watch notes,
Torpedo Expenditure Log - serial numbers, last serviced, settings, and fate, and
Sonar Log -
and so on.
Hope this helps, the KTB was the formal Patrol Report, the other logs had the day to day (or moment to moment) detail.
