What "mass murder at sea" are you referring to?
Surely not those "Killed in Action" in the battle of Tsushima!
"Murder" is a specifically defined act, and does not include accidental, or even combat related deaths'. It could however cover the deliberate killing of an unarmed, wounded combatant, based on the circumstances.
I agree however that the event should not be forgotten.
