Why were there U-boats operating in the Black Sea?

I had a look today at the positions of sunken U-boats that were sunk during World War 1. I was surprised to find 3 U-boat wreck positions that were in the Black Sea. My questions are, why were their German U-boats operating in the Black Sea, what was their missions, what were the U-boats names, and who were the captains of these boats? Thanks for any information,

Rene
