The boat described was carrying diplomatic/VIP families from Salonika to Athens, a journey that was probably no more than two days. The writer was clear that this ship had carried them before, and that although the accomodation was spartan it was adequate. I don't know if this describes a French patrol boat or not. If it was a French patrol boat, it is even more interesting from my point of view. Any ideas?

TIA,

Bruce
