LLANDOVERY CASTLE, 11,423-tons built and completed as a passenger ship by Barclay, Curle & Co., Ltd., Glasgow as Yard No.504 in January 1914 for Union-Castle Mail SS. Co., Ltd., London.
Dimensions of 500.1 x 63.3; two-Qudruple steam engines that gave 14½ knots. Official No.135302

She was taken over as a hospital ship and was sunk by U 86 (Helmut Brummer-Patzig) on 27 June 1918, so she never had any other 'life', to speak of, really.

Cheers Ron
