Hi Capo (and Yves of course),

what I know is, that kuk U 16 (the same that sank UNIONE earlier that day) was off San Giovanni di Medua.

Steamers HARMONIE and BENEDETTO GIOVANNI and mot-SV's INIZIATIVA and BONARIA are laying inside the harbour.

At 15:11 the U 16 fired one torpedo against "2 steamers in south-east harbour"

and at 15:14 she fired one torpedo against "2 steamers in northern harbour"

During the afternoon was fired at by coastal-battery with 3 shots alltogether.

The allied report says "one steamer and one large motor-cutter missed with one torpedo apiece".

Would be nice to have some additional details from the french archives :-)
