Hi, I ve got a ww 1 U-boat flag, marked U 29 and it came in a frame with a brass sign "1914-1918 given to general Lavergne de Cerval", I m trying to figure out if the boat was captured and the flag offered to the local commander (a French general) but from what I see on the site, there s no obvious connection between U 29 and a French port or ship .... .who could help me ? BEST REGARDS, Stefan
