Hello Graham,
Probably the 1,166-ton British steamer KIRKHAM ABBEY which was on passage from Rotterdam for Hull when she was torpedoed by UB 40 2-miles NE by E of Winterton at 52 44N 01 42 30E. Carrying general cargo and eight people were lost
She was a passenger cargo ship owned by Hull & Netherlands SS. Co., Ltd. (J. H. N. Ringrose), Hull
Dimensions of 255.3 x 33.7
Built by Earle's SB. & Eng. Co., Ltd., Hull in 1908
