Hello Simon,

it's relatively simple:

Spindlers attribution wrong as CUBORE was in an outward convoy (voy. St. Nazaire - N.Y.) and so she was U 107's victim.

WEST BRIDGE was in an inward convoy (voy. Seattle - Bordeaux) and most probably NOT hit by U 90 in the initial attack (according to US sources she sufferd from engine trouble and fell behind THAN was torpedoed).

The ship hit and sunk by U 90 in the inital attack was MONTANAN (there's no question about that).

so we have:

CUBORE = sunk by U 107

MONTANAN = sunk by U 90
WEST BRIDGE = damaged by U 90 after engine trouble
