Hello Michael,
as I wrote the posting I didn't had my data in reach. Now I can tell you the facts you asked for.
The vessel I mean is the French 2-Masted Gaff Schooner "St. Antoine de Padoue" (356 grt). I have her as damaged on Dec. 4th 1917. Per Lloyds War Losses she was damaged on Dec. 12th.
Further I know she made port of Fécamp on Dec. 9th!!!, one day after S.M. U 102 reported a 2-Masted sailing vessel as sunk by gunfire in quadrant 6032 delta, Start Point bearing 270°, 27 miles distant.
Well, I think she's the one but I have no evidence yet.
Any help is much appreciated.
So long
Simon
P.S. The week after Eastern I'm in Altenbruch, in the "Deutsches U-Boot-Museum". If you want a research, please let me know...
