Does anyone know the details of the death of Wuensche? He reported died in a tragic accident in 1919 at age 34. He was commander of U-97 and holder of the Pour le Merite. Thanks."

1- Do you have any details as to how and why he died at such a young age?

2- What is your relationship to him?

3- Do you have any details of his naval career or do you want that information as well?

Keep looking in this forum there are a lot of knowledgable posters here and you might well get some information on him.
