Hi!
It's been awhile since I lasted visited this forum, and now I'm back with a question?
I've recently been getting into my Family research again, mainly about William Fielding who served in the Merchant Navy, he ship was torpedoed by ub59 in 1918.
I have managed to trace the commander who was in charge of ub59, and have also managed to obtain the submarines diary for that night, which gave me a lot of insight into what happened that night of the attack.
What I would like to try and do next is to find the actual crewing list for that mission, and trace what happened to each member of crew?. Is it possibly to find out who was on duty on ub59? Did they keep records of the submarine crew, if so how could I obtain a copy?
Many thanks in advance
