In the interest of having the most complete listing of ships sunk, damaged and captured the following is submitted. MENADO 3814/07 Bonn&Mees,Rotterdam was one of seven Dutch ships in a convoy. Listed as damaged by Lloyds on 22 Feb.'17,
MENADO was stopped, boarded and explosive charges placed on board. Not all of the charges detonated and MENADO survived. The Uboat was U21 Kpt/Lt Hersing commanding. Menado is not listed in the successes of U21. Perhaps this oversight can be corrected.
