HI again everyone, On 16 June 1918, Kpt/Lt Richard Feldt embarked on his first and last command in U156. He therefore can not be credited with sinking ATLAS, ARTESIA,CHARITON,NUZZA and ATLANTIDE. These ships were sunk in Jan. and Feb. 1918.These ships Were Sunk by Kpt/Lt Konrad Gansser commanding U156 on his SECOND war patrol in U156. Gansser's first patrol lasted from 16 Oct. to 28 Oct. 1917.the patrol was cut short because of mechanical problems and bad weather. Don't have the dates for the second cruise. Maybe some learned members can supply the dates for this cruise? After the patrol, Gansser was relieved of his command.Does anyone know who that man was? Any one have info about him after the war?
Respectfully,
Joe
