AUBE ex Canadian ROSEMOUNT 1580 grt launched 1896.
1917 under french flag with CGT
1922 Returned to Canadian owners as ROSEMOUNT and same year renamed AUBE still canadian.
Broken up 1939 in Canada.
Incident you refer to is depicted in another post on the board (surface battle)
