Sorry for the mess I am making tonight.
Definitely Tangistan is credited to U 12 by Spindler in his vol.2. Tangistan was the last ship hit by this submarine who was sunk the following day.
U 12 had fired a torpedo at a british cruiser, the torpedo missed but struck Tangistan who was steaming close to the cruiser.
