Hello all,

again, i search details for a lost fishing trawler. The name is
NJORDUR or NJORBUR, an islandic trawler with registration RE.36 (Reykjavik?).
Details from ship: 286grt, built 1912 as "Velia" = FD.229.
In Miramar the trawler is only findable with the old name.
1914 is the ship sold to Icelandic owners and renamed.(see "LANCASHIRE FLOAT")
Loss is given with: "1918 from german submarine"
At shipnostalgica i have found "'HM Trawler LORD LISTER (1568) collided with and sank HM Trawler NEPTUNIAN (1523) at 2045 in position 5 miles NNW of Rathlin Island. She is proceeding to Londonderry with 8 survivors'
Only six days before LORD LISTER (H484) had picked up the crew of the Icelandic trawler NJORDUR (RE36) sunk by U-boat gunfire off Tory Island and landed them at Londonderry.

Is the identification of the submarine possible?

best regads

Michael D.
